Authentic Christian music began around the third century.
I'm not a fan but my aunt is and she's always blasting her Christian c.d.s in the car.
Some sound a lot like rock but it really throws me off when they add "God Almighty" to a good rock tune.

It's amazing how a good song without unnecessary swearing etc.. can be ruined by unnecessary preaching.

Definitely. I can love a tune but hate the words, but just because it's "cristian" music doesn't mean that it has to sound like it belongs in a pew hymnal, being sung by 80 and 90 year olds.

I like hymnals at church. I like going to churches that go with the...more strict way of doing things. Old-fashioned. I like that.

Really? That's cool. Not a lot of people do. Christian music....I'd prefer it not to be rock music, more of a classy sort of style, or hymns. haha

oh yeah. I love old gospel. It's so heartfelt, I just... I cry over a lot of songs I hear at church. This one song we sing, I..well, I can't sing it, because I'm crying. I'm not sure why.

yeah. i dunno. i still doze in church... we used to have a really cool pastor that preached really well... everyone listened. our pastor now... isn't so cool. my mom really likes her but she just goes on and on and on. I do like the hymnals though.
