Member of the Month

A thing we like to do at Rock it, is make sure we recognize our members. One way that we try express our thanks, is the Member of the Month Award. What is the Member of the Month Award? Read here and find out.
How does Member of the Month work?

Well near the end of every month. Us moderators and admins will evaluate the user who has contributed the most to this forum in the past month. That does not mean you have to have the most posts for the month. Member recruitments, topic starters, and idea contributors, will also be recognized.

What happens If I win Member of the Month?

The Winners of Member of the month will be posted at the top of the fourm, for everyone to see. They will also get vip status, as well as posted here every month.
Come December, we will announce the member of the year. We haven't quite decided yet. (We still have a few months to go) but we will do something very special for Member of the Year.
We will keep a running tally of all the Member of the months as each month passes. Your name will be replaced with the next member of the month. However, you will keep your vip status.

What happened in June, July and August ?

June's has now been added, but through July and August, we had an incredible depression of posts and traffic, so we chose not to select one for those months.

Also, doesn't make for the best image when you nominate yourself as Member of the Month.

I really think we should revoke McFace's member of the month...kind of bad for the image if a banned member won the member of the month >_>

I thought about it, we may, we may not. We shall see.

Shouldn't a comment like that be made in the mod/admin area ?

I'd ask why she was banned, but it's probably not important, I will say though that if it was minor, then what's the harm, no image to spoil really except make yourselves look really tough for no apparent reason.
