For me, when I'm really pissed off, I can listen to the most hateful music, and it will cheer me up. Sort of like reverse psychology I suppose. In what ways does music affect you?

I listen to music according to my moods. If I'm in a good mood, it's upbeat stuff, bad mood, generally Korn, but anything that's sort of on the darker side. Mad it will be heavy metal really really loud, sad it will be probably something quiet, maybe some sax from the Coltrane. Either way, it changes every time, and sometimes even if I'm pissed and pump up some AC/DC or Aerosmith and jump on the computer, that'll cheer me up.

It goes with moods I guess, sometimes the songs actually influence my mood though, from being happy to sad

It depends on my mood if I'm feeling down I tend to listen to music that's dark and if I'm feeling good I listen to anything.

Yeah, I don't have to be in a certain mood to listen to something, but when I'm pissed, the hateful stuff really is all I play.

My girlfriend just moved to North Carolina....1000 miles away from me. i've been listening to Amber Pacific and stuff like that while going through our pics. We always listenend to Amber Pacific and stuff like that when we were together, it just set the mood. it makes me realize how much i truly love her!
My parents piss me off WICKED! that's why i'm such a metalhead! i'm filled with so much hate, and when you embrace it with music that shares the same emotion you can feel the black and evils embracing you and eventually music basically cleanses you.
