Nope not for me. Music is music, and I'm Agnostic so no genre of music really bothers me. If it sounds good, I'm all for it.

smae here, i mean i was christian(still partly am i guess) but recently i have been doubting the existence of god, but i definately keep it out there, i am more Agnostic as well, not atheist, never atheist lol
but i listen to what i want, no retriuctions, and i dont let religion or anything else for that matter decide my music,.

Am a christian, sometimes, I look at how solid christians treat me like im lint or something and wonder....but still, religion has no affect of what I listen to

It's a shame people treat you like that.

yea, i dont think so either, i mean i want to be christian, i was raised that way, i just cant fathom the idea of a god who allows so much suffering, therefore i remain unsure and declare myself agnostic.
But just because you're religious and listen to stuff like death metal, doesnt make you any less religious, god doesnt judge, and neither should others, so music and religion should pretty much remain separated.

I'm christian not overly though sometimes I doubt but other times I see something and makes me belive again but it never affects my music. John Lennon's music is very anti-religion (Well at least the Plastic Ono Band album which my favorite) and yet I love listening to his music anyway.

I respect people whatever their religion is, if I like who they are. But to a certain effect, religion does affect what I listen to, but it doesn't dominate.

yea, to some people it matters, and i can respect that, but IMO, certain music doesnt make you less religious because you listen to it.

Yeah, I like some Christian Rock and I'm not even Christian. I think it should just be what you want it to be.

Now to alot of people I know religion does effect what they listen to....but IMO it doesn't bother me.....so I listen to whatever I want. But my music probably wouldn't be approved by my pastor either...but who cares lol I like it.

yeah. a lot of cussing sort of annoys me... it's not music unless it has a point and writing a song just to cuss someone out is pointless.
